Belt Length:
Measure your current belt from the pin (the part of the buckle that goes through the leather at the place it goes through the leather when on you) to the hole you use. That measurement will be the middle of seven holes. Your pants size is not good enough.
Break In and Care:
Your holster may be tight at first. The best way to break it in is by wearing it and using it. If you find your holster is still too tight try wrapping your unloaded gun in a plastic bag and working it in and out. This will help the leather to stretch a bit to allow the gun to fit easier.
If you holster gets wet make sure the mold is still accurate then put it in a place that will allow it to dry.
Remove your gun from the holster when you are not using it.
Gun List:
What if my gun is not on the list? Feel free to contact me using the contact page. I may be able to come up with something to help you out. If you live near Springfield MO I would be happy to use your gun to build your holster.
Color Options:
Black – Brown – Natural Other colors are available but are an up charge. Contact me to discuss custom colors.
Prices:
My prices are competitive with other holster makers of similar quality. Early on my prices were lower than just about everyone’s, I felt I needed to pay some dues and make a name for myself. Now I have paid those dues and have a name in the leather business as a fair, honest, hard working leather worker who makes products with exceptional quality and attention to detail. Back then I had lots of time so it was cheep. Now I have two children who I would rather be playing catch with or wrestling so to pry me away from them I have to make good money. I think my prices are fair. If you are looking for the cheapest item available look elsewhere. If you are looking for a high quality piece at a reasonable price, I’m your guy.
Difficult People:
I reserve the right to not do business with anyone I want. Life is short and I am busy. I don’t have time to deal with you if you are cantankerous, overly picky or just a pain in the neck. If you are one of these people please do business with one of my competitors. If you are not I would love to work with you.
